Fall Community Performance
Join the Fairfield County Symphony Society this fall for our annual fall performance at the United Methodist Church of Westport and Weston — our third time performing in this wonderful space! This concert is open to the public and free to attend, with donations always welcome. Bring a friend, bring the family, and join us for an afternoon of music!
Program TBD
50th Anniversary Fundraiser Concert
Join us as we celebrate 50 years of making music in community! Our anniversary concert will feature a special performance honoring the spirit, dedication, and joy that have shaped FCSS over the past five decades.
Following the concert, stay for a festive reception with light bites, a fun photobooth, and plenty of time to connect and celebrate together.
This special evening will be held at The Granite in Redding, CT — a beautifully restored and repurposed church that now serves as a vibrant community space for art and music. Its history and renewal reflect the very heart of FCSS.
Tickets can be purchased here.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Collaborative Rehearsal with the Norwalk Gamer Symphony Orchestra
FCSS is excited to have a collaborative rehearsal with the Norwalk Gamer Symphony Orchestra (NGSO), a community ensemble that brings video game music to life through original orchestrations, many arranged by its own members. They’re typically short on strings, and we’re always glad to add winds and brass— so this partnership just makes sense! Let’s broaden our musical repertoire and try something new. Learn more about the NGSO at www.norwalkgso.org/
Make Music Day Performance
FCSS will be participating in Make Music Day with a performance at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield. This global celebration of free, live music began in France in 1982 and now spans over 120 countries, with participating venues throughout Fairfield and Ridgefield. Expect to hear some pop and Broadway hits!
Holiday Open Rehearsal
Join us for our holiday open rehearsal, our final rehearsal of 2024, where we’ll celebrate the season with festive music and holiday treats! Come play, listen, or just enjoy the snacks and company. We hope to see you there!
